Summer Coronation 2008

From Regent Venus:

When: July 19th
Where: Saladino Park, Brandon, Fl
What time: "Gate" opens at 10:00 a.m. games to begin at 11:00 a.m.
Cost: $10.00

This is a one day event beginning at 10 a.m. and ending at midnight.
Court/Feast will be at the Legion Hall in Bradon Fl, at 7:00 p.m.
Absolutely no outside food or beverages allowed. Period.
There is a bar onsite with a bartender where you may purchase alcohol,
no outside alcoholic beverages are allowed. Period.

Arts & Sciences:
There will be a newbie competition for arts & sciences. Entries are
due at 11:00. Please make sure that your entry falls into one of the
following categories: Dragon, Garber, Owl and that you do not have
above a 4th level award in any of the categories you choose to enter.

Saturday, June 28th at Saladino Park in Brandon FL

Quals will begin at 11:00am. All items must be entered no later than
12:00pm. The Champion tourney will begin at 12:30pm.

Anyone wishing to enter any food or beverage items MUST provide a complete
ingredient list. Failure to do so will result in disqualification of the
item. No exceptions.

Those running for Monarch and Regent will require a minimum of 10 passing
cultural entries (this includes reeve and corpora tests).

Those running for Champion will require a minimum of 5 passing cultural
entries (this includes reeve and corpora tests).

Anyone wishing to help reeve, coordinate, or judge, please contact me.

leave (cleaning supplies are NOT provided so bring your own).

Cabins are availabe for the event. There are both 2 man and 4 man cabins. They
are reservable and the cabins will run $2 for a 2 man cabin and $4 for a 4 man
cabin.

Darkwater East leaves Kingdom

In sad news, Darkwater East, one of the original parks of Neverwinter and for a good time one of the largest, voted to leave Neverwinter and change their name to Kestrel Keep.

Gathering of the Clans - 25th Anniversery!!!

I am extremely honored and humbled (I know, right?) to announce that The Brennon and Megiddo Show has been awarded the opportunity to autocrat Amtgards Silver Jubilee at Clan this year. We have some truly amazing things planned for the event and we hope to throw Amtgard and the Burning Lands the greatest event ever.

Amtgard has given all of us great joy, entertainment, and personal growth over the years. Now is our chance to come together and celebrate all that we have given to the game and all that we have received in return.

Details:
Dates: Wednesday July 23rd through Sunday July 27th
Location: Bonito Lake Campground, Ruidoso New Mexico
Cost: $5 per head for Clan, $10 per vehicle, per day to the campground (if you carpool, this gets much cheaper).

The entirety of the campsite will be decorated and themed for a medieval village setting. Meggido and I are planning to have a setup far surpassing the efforts of the Maze last year. Our goal is to make you truly feel like you've been immersed in another time.

This year, lets bring it all home. Come join with all of your brothers and sisters and truly appreciate what we have accomplished in the last quarter century.

Harvest Feast Directions

A number of people have been asking me for directions to Harvest Feast. Well, to make it easier, I have created an interactive google map that not only shows you how to get there, points out things in the area (closest shopping, etc), things to watch for on the road, and so on.

Harvest Feast X

Harvest Feast X will be November 2-4, 2007, at the Florida Bible Camp near High Springs Florida (the location used many times in the past).

Harvest Feast will also be Kingdom Midreign this year, meaning the Weaponmaster tournament will be held. It will take place on Saturday.

The cost of the event will be $25.00.

Cabins are available, including various specialty cabins and the general cabins, contact the autocrat (Squire Aitree ) to place a bid.
